Roll Call

So many blogs out there. Here are a few of my favs... which I usually read in the morning with my coffee and green smoothie. (in no order of importance. I can't play favorites, it wouldn't be right)
  1. Model Burnbook - she's a model. she's dark, sarcastic and spot-on.
  2. Catalog Living - I giggle out loud.
  3. Displaced Bones - lots of black and white pictures of fashion.
  4. The Cosmic Cowgirl - food. yummy food. I'm hungry.
  5. One Good Thing - I cry. Alot. Puts it all in perspective.
And now I need to go... the Jersey Shore cast is on The Today Show. GTL.

Don't forget to tell me what your favs are!

Day 18: I'm thankful for the Jersey Shore premiere tonight

Day 17: I'm thankful for little brothers

who are 21 years younger and make you automatically turn into an 8 year old when you are around them. And can we talk about the red hair... I die!

Day 16: I'm thankful for big sisters...

... that move away and give you lots of nice furniture. And their skinny clothes when they get big and preggo. And their golden egg purse. And play the shoulder game. And their Michael Kors watch. (ok, not really, but thought I'd throw that one in just in case).

Day 2: I'm thankful for Friends

Time for Thanks

So this weekend, on a walk down the street with a frozen coffee and good friend, the talk of things we are thankful for came up. She mentioned a blog that lists one thing a day that the woman is thankful for. While I make a habit each morning and night thinking what I am thankful for, it us usually the grand things -- like friends, health, family, gelato.
So in that vain, each day for 30 days I will list one thing I am thankful for at that exact moment that I am typing it.

Here goes: Today I am thankful that it's not 100 degrees out.

Quote of the day

"i want to do something stupid like live in a trailer on the California coast with a beautiful boy that i love. it’s ironic that something so simple can also seem so unattainable."

Hot Hot Heat

The heat is making me go crazy.
Crazy trying to figure out how to look that cool on my way to work in the summer.

Dumpster Diving

Who gets a cold in summer? Oh wait, this person does. Last night after my 24th hour at home I started a little spring cleaning. I blame the cold for clouding my judgment. But out went wine glasses, my collection of Cooking Light and Real Simple (trust, the archive of W stayed!), takeout menus, and shirts that have been living in my closet untouched for years. I went to bed feeling cleansed... and still sick.
And I woke up... still sick and debating digging in the dumpster for those shirts.
