National Eating Disorder Awareness Week

February 22-28 is National Eating Disorder Awareness Week. It's a good week... exactly 12 years ago a college friend took me to get screened for an eating disorder. I've been a little overweight and a lot underweight, and trust me, being a few pounds heavier is a hell of a lot better than worrying about food all of the time! Love your body... it's the only one you've got!

Ok, so I have to be honest... I have no idea who Erickson Beamon is. But I do know that this jewelry duo did a cheaper line for Target that is, well, it's pretty damn good! I've always favored accessories over actual articles of clothing. And the bigger the better. Their line is fun, bright, bold and even a little cheeky (see lobster necklace).

What to Do This Weekend

So it looks like this weekend is all about Valentine’s Day… if you are into that sort of thing. If not, then you should just dance around your room naked while listening to your favorite band and drinking wine straight out of the bottle. Or you can go hug your friends and tell them how awesome they are.

30 Means Amazing

Let's just say that my 30th birthday was amazing. The best one yet! My cheeks hurt from smiling and for an entire week it was nothing but friends, celebrations and awesomeness. My old roommate in Italy came to stay with me for a few days and 25 of us packed up and headed off to Atlantic City for the night. There was a dance-off, a giant cake, gambling, and an outfit I am pretty sure I am going to regret in a few years.
