I just recieved this little message via Facebook:
"I better make an appearance on Deacon DC this week, I'm sure you can find a synonym for Uber. Glad we got to celebrate Turkey Day with you!"
My dear, you shall make an appearance when you learn to spell Dekan the right way.

Black Friday is Almost Here
Snag Some Tights
It's snowing in Ohio... which has me wanting to bundle up in warmth and coziness and not move from the couch. Oh wait, that is exactly what I have been doing. But should I go outside, would I look ridic in ripped tights? Let's be honest, I have come home at 3am after a long night in snagged tights at least once or twice in my day, but never on purpose.

Be Back Soon
Still recouping from foot surgery. I will be out of the haze and back tomorrow. But for now it is 6pm, which means time for bed!

Early Morning Priorities
In an hour they will be cutting my foot open and removing my pretty little broken bone. And all I can think about is that I can't wait for it to be over so I can get a coffee and bagel.

Poke It to Me
Last night I did something I have been wanting to do for years. I got acupuncture. I will admit that I was oddly excited to go and have needles stuck in me. And I am still oddly excited to go back and do it again.
The jury is still out on whether or not Dr. Liang fixed the pinched nerve in my shoulder. But he did rub hot stones on my neck and shoulders and anyone who knows me know that the shoulder game is a quick way to my heart.

No Animals Were Harmed in the Making of This Bag
Last night, as we were tumbling out of the elevator after girls night, a great discovery was made. My beloved new blue bag is an immitation. Here I thought the little guy was made of leather, until two friends told me that Matt and Nat is a vegan line.
Looks like I now have two new leading men in my life... Matt and Nat. Who knew vegan could be so sexy.

Here's a little bit of new tha tis sure to make you smile this morning:
Alexander McQueen is set to launch a (cheaper) line of clothing for Target this March. No word on if his famous skull scarves will be gracing the aisles for a third of the price, but trust me on one thing... whatever he does design will be good. Rock n roll good!

Why We Watch GG
Because one of my favorite things to do is gather on the couch with my friends, doug and snacks
Because Blair's hair is morphing from light on top to dark on bottom... and not in a good way
Because Little J wears more eyeliner than any 80's hair band combined
Because you never know what bad shirt Rufus will have on next
Because Dan is annoying, Chuck is annoyingly sexy and I am annoyed if I don't get my weekly fix.
These are the reasons I heart the show.
Meet the Facehunter
I just dicovered the Facehunter, who is a bit like The Sartorialist, but not really. The Facehunter has a much more "everyday person" vibe to it. And not to mention lots and lots of pretty people in pretty clothes that make you oooh and aaahhh and sort of sigh out loud.

The Countdown Begins
Blue Purse But Not Blue Mood
This weekend I found the perfect blue leather purse. Which my sister wants to steal. She can live with her fancy dancy diaper bag while I rock my sweet, sweet arm candy.
Today was a long day, and I am laying in my hotel bed ready to sleep so that I can wake up and do it all over again. Such a great trip... details later.

Target's Grey Kinsey Boot
I probably shouldn't be sharing my secret, but I am terrible like that. While visiting my parents I spotted a pair of grey knee-high boots on a girl and gapsed! They looked like the Frye's I had been crushing on. The girl admitted they were from Target... and only $34!!! A few minutes later my sister called me through the store to look at the same boots on the same girl. "I know! Target!" I exclaimed.
As we were walking out of voting this morning I spotted them on a girl in line and not-so-discreetly pointed and drooled. And in 2 weeks the same pretty grey boots will be delivered to my door.
If there is one steal of the season, these are it. Trust me... mommy knows!
Election Day Continues
Today when you get upset because your meeting ran late, or Starbucks is taking too long to make your coffee or someone bumps into you on the street, think about all of the couples in California who are spending the day wondering if their marriage will still be valid tomorrow.
Kind of puts it all into perspective, huh?
(and to the newlyweds, your marriage will ALWAYS be valid!)
lots of kisses,
me
